Road solar light are widely used in our lives. They can be seen in cities or rural areas, main roads or country roads, scenic spots or courtyards, which brings great convenience to our night life, but road solar light are exposed to the outdoors. It is easy to be affected by the environment and there are some failures, so how should we troubleshoot and deal with these failures?
- The whole light is not on
There are usually 4 reasons of why the whole light does not turn on. The common one is that the controller in the light pole enters water and a short circuit occurs. First of all, you can check whether there is water rust on the controller terminal.
If this happens, it is most likely that the controller is damaged with water ingress. You can use a multi meter to measure the organization of the two ends of the loop. If the resistance is too small, it is generally a short circuit. At this time, you need to replace the controller.
If the controller is not damaged and short-circuited, then we check if there is a problem with the battery, you can use the battery voltage to measure it. If the battery does not store electricity, it naturally needs to be replaced in time.
If there is no problem with the battery, you can further check whether there is a problem with the solar panel, and whether there is voltage and current output under normal working conditions. If not, the panel needs to be replaced.
If none of the above is a problem, it may be that the light source itself has a problem. After supplying power to the LED light source, see if it can light up normally and replace it in time.
- Short lighting time
After the road solar light is used for a period of time, even if there is enough light, it may appear that the lighting time is short, and the lighting cannot be provided normally in rainy days. Most of the battery has a problem, and its storage capacity is reduced. If the power is insufficient, just replace a matching battery in time, and the parameters should be appropriate.
- After the lamp holder is installed, it is all on and not off
When we install road solar light, some customers may encounter such a problem. Why does the LED light turn on as soon as it is installed, but it still does not turn off. At this time, first we check whether the positive and negative poles of the solar panel are connected correctly, if they are connected reversely Correct it in time, and then use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the solar panels, and compare them to see if they are consistent. If the voltage value is too small, it means that the solar panel itself has quality problems and should be replaced in time.
- The street lamp beads are not all on
If the light source is made of false welding, it is easy to cause this result. Replace the corresponding lamp beads and the welding is firm. If all the light sources are welded well, then it is likely that the quality of the light source itself is defective. , The entire lamp holder needs to be replaced.
- The light source flickers
There are many reasons for this phenomenon. First of all, you can replace the lamp. If this problem persists after the replacement, then it may be a problem with the line. Check whether the line interface is in good contact and deal with it in time.
If there is no problem with the wiring and the light source still flickers, you need to check the battery. If the battery is in a state of power loss and the power storage is insufficient, the light source may flicker. In this case, you replace the battery in time.
